We have come a long way in 40 years and we as a club are no less enthusiastic in our mission to develop the sport of sculling by providing excellent sculling opportunities and facilities. To do this we need the continued support and work of many people.

Fundraising   Please help pay for more new and improved club facilities.   The Club launched its Phase 4 Development Campaign early in 2009. In summary, by December 2010 we have re-built the boathouse as a two bay brick structure to double our capacity and we have re-formed the crumbling river bank, with extended steps and balcony.  

  The full development cost was in the region of £150,000. All fundraising was achieved by the members, and the development has been paid off already, enabling us to address other priority areas.

There will be more opportunities to contribute to major developments at our Club. Please support us in whatever way you can: either financially, in kind, by organising a fund raising event, or even just pass this information to someone else who can help.   Members will be automatically informed of our fundraising initiatives.
